Who We Are

Transcending Solutions is a community-centered organization dedicated to supporting Black transgender women  through resources, advocacy, empowerment, and opportunity.

We exist to address the barriers that impact the lives of Black Trans women by creating pathways to safety, stability, connection, and success. Our work is rooted in the belief that Black transgender women deserve access to affirming support systems, equitable opportunities, and spaces where they can fully thrive.

We envision a future where Black Trans women are safe, supported, valued, and empowered to lead, thrive, and create meaningful change within their communities.

Our Founder

Transcending Solutions was founded by Mahogany Toney, a community advocate and leader committed to improving outcomes for Black Trans women.

Through years of experience in HIV advocacy, community health, leadership development, and LGBTQ+ community engagement, Mahogany recognized the need for more intentional support systems that center the lived experiences and leadership of Black transgender women.

Transcending Solutions was created to help transform challenges into opportunities by connecting community members with resources, advocacy, and support.
